Greg McHale
Chief Executive Officer & Lead Broker
Greg McHale is the CEO and Lead Broker of First Bridge Energy, Canada’s leading Indigenous-owned petroleum brokerage. He brings a sharp focus on strategy, negotiation, and relationship-building to connect Canadian fuel suppliers with international buyers, particularly in Southeast Asia. Greg leads the company with a clear vision: build trusted global partnerships, and position First Bridge Energy at the forefront of Canada’s energy trade.
Beyond the energy sector, Greg is widely recognized as the creator and host of Greg McHale’s Wild Yukon, an internationally broadcast television series that has run for nearly a decade. A former professional endurance athlete and adventure racer, Greg has built his reputation on resilience, teamwork, and performing under extreme pressure — qualities he now applies to leading complex, high-stakes negotiations in international fuel markets.
As a First Nation business leader, Greg is committed to creating meaningful economic participation for Indigenous communities while opening new trade corridors between Canada and the world. His approach blends the discipline of a world-class athlete with the strategic vision of an entrepreneur, ensuring that First Bridge Energy lives its promise:

Sean MacDonald
Chief International Officer & General Counsel
Sean MacDonald is a graduate of Dalhousie Law School (Class of 1999) and began his legal career articling at Fraser & Beatty, now Dentons, one of Canada’s premier Bay Street law firms. He was quickly recruited post-articles to join a major corporate commercial litigation team, where he worked on the landmark $300 million shareholder rights case Incorporated Broadcasters v. Izzy Asper and CanWest Global Communications.
Over the following two decades, Sean built a wide-ranging legal career focused on business law, internal corporate investigations, criminal law and forensic consulting. His experience includes leading complex internal probes and serving as a consultant in Deloitte’s Forensic Financial Crime practice in Toronto. He has also made a significant impact in public interest, pro bono law, securing exonerations in three high-profile wrongful conviction cases and serving as a director of Innocence Canada and the U.S.-based Innocence Network.
Beyond the legal field, Sean brings a spirit of leadership from the gridiron, having played quarterback at the university level.
